Supreme Justice
Sequel to Executive Privilege
By Phillip Margolin
Dana Cutler and Brad Miller are back for another suspenseful mystery.
This time it involves Sarah Woodruff who is on death row for the
murder of her lover. Her case has gone up the appeal boards to the
Supreme Court. As the Justices are trying to figure out if Sarah
should be able to appeal, one Justice is attacked and another mysteriously
steps down. Brad, who is now a clear, asks Dana to help him figure
out what is going on. Supreme Justice is full of fast-paced
action.
Phillip Margolin has done it again. The action is
fast and keeps the reader turning the page. It is also realistic.
It is obvious that Margolin has used his long career as a criminal
defense attorney in creating the characters and describing what
happens in his books. The legalese in Supreme Justice is
not hard to understand for the average non lawyer reader. Brad and
Dana’s characters continue to be well established and hold
true to themselves. The minor characters uphold the main character’s
behaviors and motives.
Supreme
Justice is one of those books that readers will want to reread
and continue to enjoy over the years.
