       Stephanie Plum move over! Wicked Appetite with Lizzy Tucker is just the beginning of an engaging, wildly addictive series. Narrator Loelei King adds her voice to the audio version in a very, very funny way.

Lizzy Tucker makes darn good cupcakes for a living. When she inherits a family home she returns to Marblehead (Boston's North Shore) to work at Dazzle's Bakery. She works with Clara and Glo. Glo see auras and runs amuck with a spell book. Clarinda Dazzle runs the bakery and at some point reveals her cookie secret. Lizzy's dad makes an appearance too.

Unmentionable Diesel, dark and deadly Wulf Grimoire, and Carl the monkey – all of Plum Spooky fame, return. Wulf is still pale, Diesel is still Brad Pitt beautiful and Carl the monkey is still rude.

The mystery is aptly named Wicked Appetite. Wulf is looking for the Seven Deadly Stones of Power which are named after the Seven Deadly Sins (pride, greed, lust, envy wrath, sloth and gluttony). Gluttony is the caper this go-around. And what a funny caper it is. Wulf wants Lizzie because she vibrates around certain things --- like the stones. Diesel wants the Stones and Lizzie, too. At some point Diesel realizes he wants Lizzy for himself. Lizzy just wants to make cupcakes and at some point the caper seriously interferes with even that. It's a mystery full of desserts, quirky main and secondary characters, twists and turns and laughs. Don't you dare miss it.
