Dr. Bill Brockton
was asked to do a fairly routine exhumation of a body to get a bone
sample for a DNA paternity test. What began as a simple enough assignment
turned into a full blown criminal investigation when the coffin
was opened.
The corpse
inside was terribly violated, pointing to a case of grave robbery
with major repercussions. Recruited by the FBI to launch a sting
operation to uncover a postmortem chop shop in body parts, Brockton
finds himself in a ghoulish situation with consequences which will
touch upon those he knows.
This latest
Body Farm novel gives a contemporary twist to what has been a centuries
old problem. In dissecting the clandestine body business, Jefferson
Bass has again created a story that is as compelling as it is authentic.
If you like forensic thrillers this is a must read!
