Convinced that their daughter would not take her own life even though she's found dead in the bathtub with a suicide note nearby, the Whitmires insist the police investigate the death of the 16 year old.

NYPD Detective Ellie Hatcher believes it was a suicide but is forced to look into the situation. As she reluctantly digs into the teen's past, Hatcher realizes that there is something very wrong here. Within the world of elite prep schools, precocious friends and vast family wealth, the detective discovers poor Julie Whitmire had also stumbled into something quite nasty.

Add to the mix a woman being stalked on a blog she's created to reach out to fellow abuse victims and some baggage from Hatcher's past and you have another riveting novel by bestselling novelist Alafair Burke. Like the other thrillers in this series, you'll be mesmerized by the characters and entranced by the plot from the time you open and start reading this novel. Once into it, you'll find "Never Tell" difficult to set down.
