Katie Lightfoot returns in this second entry in the Magical Bakery Mystery series, and she’s back with power. Magical power, that is. Katie’s energized by her studies, conducted with members of her spellbook club. Her work at the family bakery, the Honeybee Bakery, is also fulfilling and life is good.

Trouble hones in on Katie like an evil GPS when she becomes involved in another murder investigation. Even worse, she is the one who found the body! The man who died is believed to be homeless, at least according to the detective in charge of the case, but he’is really a member of a secret society and there is more to his killing than meets the eye. Katie is on the case and, with her Aunt Lucy’s help, she, they cooks up a recipe to unearth a killer.

Brimming with positive magic, delicious characters, and a tasty batch of clues, this book should satisfy the appetite of the most voracious mystery reader.

If you enjoy books like Ellery Adams Charmed Pie Shoppe Mystery series, and Heather Blake’s Wishcraft Mystery series are destined to enjoy the Magical Bakery Mystery series.
