Miss Frankie Renier has roped
her partner and former daughter-in-law, Rita Lucero, into
attending the Magnolia Square Business Alliance meeting. In
fact, Rita is running for one of the board seats. All she
really wants to do is get home to her other meeting with Ben
and Jerry and maybe Castle. The meeting is not going well
at all – the members are fighting about removing Destiny
Hazen as a representative since she has not attended one single
meeting. Just when Aquanetta Fisher gets the meeting back
on track, Destiny arrives and wants to run for a seat of the
board. Not any seat but for President against Aquannetta!!

victim? Who took Rita’s pain medication?
This was another great addition to the Piece of Cake Mystery
series. The author’s good plotting keeps you turning
those pages. Love the characters and always look forward to
stopping by and seeing what is going on at Zydeco Cakes. The
author has included some yummy recipes. So if you like your
mystery with a taste of New Orleans, then you should be reading
The Cakes of Wrath.
