An iron-clad prenup and a cupcake have Reagan Summerside selling her worldly goods. Most of her furniture is gone and she is now reduced to selling her designer clothes in her front room.

Needing to transport a fountain she has sold, Reagan convinces, Ida Mae, her ex-husband’s secretary to let her borrow the keys to the Lexus that was hers until the day before. Popping open the trunk to make sure she could fit the fountain inside she finds more than she bargained for – a dead cupcake! Really it is Hollis Beaumont’s girlfriend Janelle Claiborne –I mean former girlfriend since you can’t date a dead cupcake!

Now Hollis is the number one police suspect and Reagan will have to figure out who really killed the cupcake. If not, her beloved home, Cherry House, will be sold to pay for the very expensive legal team Hollis will need. You guessed it- another part of that horrible prenup. Will solving the cupcake’s murder give Reagan more than she bargained for?

Things to Ponder: Who stuffed the cupcake in the trunk of Hollis’ car? Why was the cupcake seeing Reverend Franklin? Does Dinah Corwin have a motive for wanting the cupcake eliminated?

I loved this book. The characters were real and fun to be around. It was a book I couldn’t wait to read, and I read it mostly in one sitting. One does have to sleep sometime. Anyway, this was a real page turner. Aunt Kiki is the perfect Watson to Reagan’s Holmes. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. So if you like your mystery with a rack of designer duds then Iced Chiffon is the book for you.
