Hollywood
has invaded Cabot Cove!! One of Jessica's older books is going
to the big screen. The producer decided to go on location
because the book was loosely based on a murder that shocked
Cabot Cove years ago.
The murder
occurred when a judge, walking her dog, was gunned down. The
prime suspect was a husband whom the judge ruled against in
a child custody case. Then it turned to the judge's husband
and his mistress, who could have been eliminating the competition.
However,
it seems everyone on the set has a hidden agenda. A novice
director wants his shot at the big time. A fading star that
wants to shine once again has outlandish demands. And to top
it off, a stranger is stalking Jessica.
Jessica
must find a killer when the actress playing the judge is fatally
shot - the only witness is her dog - and there is a cast and
crew of possible suspects.
Once
again, Jessica is right in the thick of things. How can she
not be when everything is going on in her own backyard? Not
to mention the fact that one of her older books is being made
into a movie and they are filming it right in Cabot Cove.
Seth warned her that she was going to get herself in trouble,
and sure enough, that's exactly what she did.
I can't
say enough about this book and all of the other Murder, She
Wrote books. Each one is a joy to read. You get wrapped up
in the story and rack your brain trying to solve it before
you get to the end of the book. If you love puzzles and solving
mysteries, this is the book for you. So curl up with your
favorite blanket, a cup of hot tea (or hot chocolate) and
read away.
