Out of the blue, Audrey Bloom gets a phone call from her ex-boyfriend,
Brad Simmons. He is working as a production assistant on a
reality TV show called Fix My Wedding. This show just happens
to be one of Audrey's favorite shows. Brad tells her that
the next show will be filming in Ramble, Virginia. The show
wants to use her flower shop, Rose in Bloom, to make the bouquets
and arrangements for the wedding. It will bring a lot of publicity
and a welcome amount of money to the shop. So, Audrey agrees.
The day of the filming arrives and Audrey
heads to the gazebo to show the three bouquets that she and
several staff members created. The first set of bouquets is
completely ruined by the crew and the heat. That is when Bridezilla,
Suzie Weber, arrives and threatens to fire Gary Davoli, one
of the hosts of the show. Gary in turn threatens to ruin Audrey's
business and demotes Brad to a gofer. Audrey is happy to leave
the set and return to her shop. As she is telling the staff
what has happened, they hear the bell at the old Baptist Church
ringing. As Audrey heads there to see what is going on, she
sees Brad's Range Rover parked in front of the church. Then
she hears the police sirens and knows something bad has happened.
The police bring Brad out of the church. He is in shock, but
tells Audrey that Gary is dead and hanging from the bell rope.
The police consider Brad a suspect so he will be questioned.
Audrey had better be careful solving this death or she could
just wither away.
Things to ponder: Will Brad's return ruin
Audrey's relationship with Nick? Who sent Brad the text to
meet Gary at the old Baptist Church? Will the taping of Fix
My Wedding go on?
