The first thing I simply must share about this book is that you should take the time to read the Acknowledgements at the beginning. I was moved to tears and then brought to smiles by my complete understanding of what Victoria Laurie was working to process. She did a great job, and with a lot of support got the book she thought she might not be able to finish done. Well done, Ms. Laurie, well done.

Now, on to the story. Psychic medium M. J. Holliday has taken a break from her reality TV show, “Ghoul Getters.” She’s back in Boston, along with her boyfriend, Heath, and her dear friend, Gilley.

The break isn’t restful though, as M. J.’s ex-boyfriend, Steven, shows up at her office seeking help for his fiancée’s brother, Luke, who seems to be possessed. It is decided that M. J. and crew should observe Luke with the use of surveillance cameras to catch the spook when he thinks no one is looking. Yet Luke leaves the premises and when he returns, he is covered in blood. Is it the blood of a woman murdered in the neighborhood? Or has the ghost thrown them off the track of his real mission?

With more questions than answers, and possibly the creepiest ghost M. J. has faced yet, I found the book to be one I couldn’t put down. Along with the ghost story, you’ll find romance and humor, and fast-paced action. I loved it!

I highly recommend this to fans of paranormal mysteries, and rate it with Five Screams!!
