Hitching
Post, Alabama, is considered the wedding capital of the south,
so it's not a big surprise that Senator Warren Calhoun has
brought his family to town to stage the wedding of his son,
Landry, and Gabi Greenleigh, a former Miss Alabama.
Carly
Bell Hartwell once again finds herself in the thick of things,
as her mother runs the wedding chapel where the ceremony is
to take place, the bride comes to Carly in search of a love
potion, and a childhood friend, Katie Sue Perrywinkle, returns
to town bringing nothing but trouble with her. When Katie
Sue is murdered, there is an abundance of suspects, but no
easy answers. Who killed her, and why? Just what is her connection
to the senator and his family?
Mayhem
and magic abound in Hitching Post, and I loved every minute
of reading this book. When a mystery novel can transport me
to another place and put me right in the midst of the drama,
and have me rooting for my favorite characters while trying
to puzzle out the clues from the red herrings, I am one happy
reader.
If you
love a good magical mystery tour, One Potion in the Grave
is a fall read you won't want to miss!
