Darcy Merriweather is a Wishcrafter
who is hired to watch Natasha Norcliffe who is suspected of
sabotaging the Pawsitively Enchanted pet contest in order
to win it herself, with her beautiful cat Titania. But when
Natasha is murdered at the event, and someone else suffers
poisoning, it's time to look in another direction. On top
of that, local pets are being petnapped at an alarming rate!
I love a good paracozy mystery, and once again, Heather Blake
has served up just the right amount of small town cozy feelings,
a touch of romance, a solid murder mystery and some intriguing
magic.
I especially enjoy that the Enchanted Village is located
in Salem, Massachusetts which is not very far from my hometown.
I can easily imagine such a village being hidden away in Salem
just waiting for me to find it. Aha! I don't have to go looking
for it-- it's right here in the pages of this wonderful mystery
series!
If you too love paracozy mysteries, good strong familial
and female friendships, talking animals and a healthy dose
of humor, you won't want to miss Gone with the Witch.
I'm thrilled to be adding it to my collection of books by
Heather Blake and I highly recommend it to you, too!
