Professional psychic Abby
Cooper is once again called in to prove herself to the FBI.
This time it is the Los Angeles bureau struggling to solve
a series of bank robberies, but unfortunately unwilling to
accept Abby's talent for what it is. They test her and try
to set her up to fail. The frustration with this case continues
to mount, especially after Abby has a vision of four graves,
with young people dead near one of the bank locations.
Good
thing for Abby that she has her best friend, Candice, along
for moral support and to help her dig for leads and ask the
right questions!
There
is so much going on in this book that it held my attention
for hours on end! I would never have guessed who the bank
robber gang is, although I was quickly certain who the murderer
was. Somehow who the killer was seemed secondary to me in
this case.
Full
of clever twists and turns, and packed with witty dialogue,
I couldn't put this latest Psychic Eye mystery down, and I
bet you won't be able to either!
I highly
recommend this paranormal mystery as a great summer read.
It would be an excellent book club suggestion as well. Although
it is the fourteenth book in the series, it is fine as a stand
alone read.
