A Premonition of Murder
is the third book in the Dream Club Mystery Series by Mary
Kennedy. In the newest installment, Taylor and Ali find themselves
with an invitation to Beaux Reeves mansion to have tea with
Savannah's famously reclusive heiress, Abigail Marchand. However,
their visions of a tour are sidelined when Abigail asks for
dream interpretation on a dream she thinks is foretelling
her death. Taylor assures Abigail that dreams can be interpreted
many different ways, but finds herself in the middle of another
murder investigation when, just days later, their Dream Club
meeting is interrupted with a call stating that Abigail is
dead and it looks like foul play.
As with
the other books in the series, A Premonition of Murder
treats us to another unique and inventive mystery that
had me guessing the "whodunit" of this story right
up until the end. From the very start of this series, I have
adored the characters in this series and I simply love the
spunk of the Dream Club and its members. If you are interested
in getting some information on what your dreams may be telling
you, don't forget to check the back of the book, where you
will find some dream interpretation knowledge from the Dream
Club themselves! However, what I wish I found in the back
of this book were some of the recipes mentioned throughout;
they sound simply delightful! Overall, A Premonition of
Murder is another great addition to the Dream Club Mystery
series, a series that clearly is destined for continued greatness!
