If You Dare
By Adrianne Byrd

Known in France as Lé Fantôme, Damien Black was a master art thief. He never left any evidence behind, so he was never captured. Now, at the age of thirty-six, he was retired. As a multimillionaire businessman, he lived a good life in Atlanta.

Then, an old friend that he'd worked for before called him. Sean Lafonte wanted Damien to pull one more job. A new collection was coming into the Atlanta High Museum, and Lafonte wanted Damien Black to steal it. But Damien wasn't sure he wanted to come out of retirement. It had been a while since he pulled a robbery. Now, he was not sure he wanted to risk it all for just the excitement of one more job.

Damien went to the Museum to case the place in the event he decided to take the job. It was there he met Angel. She was beautiful, intelligent, everything he wanted in a woman. But she was also the new art director for the Museum. Damien stole her cell phone and gave her his. For a while, it was a standoff to see which one would call the other first. Angel finally gave in. Thus began their romance. Both of them fell head over heels in love. They were happier with each other than they'd ever been in their lives.

In the meantime, the French police lieutenant who had been pursuing Damien Black had retired and come to the United States convinced that he would catch Black in the act. This only added to Damien's stress over the new job.

If You Dare never lets you put it down. In spite of the overdone sex scenes, the book is a story of true love and its power to change people. If you like romance and suspense, this is your book.
