Table
for Two
By
Karen Sandler
Shy
and quiet Rachael Reeves accepted along time ago that she was just
a plain Jane. Therefore, when she agreed to help her beautiful stepsisters
try to be the representative for The Hansford House of Pancakes,
no one is more surprised than she when CEO Jack Hanford chooses
her instead of one of the actual contestants. Rachael just cannot
figure out why someone would want a woman as plain as she is to
embark on a promotional tour.
Jack
Hanford could not believe his eyes. He spotted the woman he wanted
as soon as she walked in. Without giving her time to think, he whirls
her away to sign the contract and to shop for appropriate clothes,
telling himself that he only wants her for the tour.
His
plans are changed when his father announces that they will have
to pretend to be married for the duration of the tour.
Jack
has never had a problem attracting women. Now that he is the one
attracted, he has to keep reminding himself that he never wants
to get married, because he knows that Rachael is the forever kind.
However, thanks to his father, his control is being tested at every
turn. At each Pancake House his father has put together plenty of
ways to keep these two together.
