Blackout
by Annie Solomon
In this enthralling romantic suspense novel, Margo Scott awakens with a nasty headache and
no idea why she knows her name but nothing else. She can't remember where she's been for
the last four weeks. She thinks she's a rare book seller and her friend confirms this when
she shows up for work, but something sinister is lurking in the shadows. Special Agent
Jake Wise is watching her on assignment but knows as much about Margo as Margo does. Jake
has found a way to conveniently meet her and convince her he's just a nice lawyer guy while
trying to get closer to her and find out her secrets.
This is a fascinating story as Margo unwraps the mystery of who she really is and what
she might have done in the name of her real job. Can she live with herself when she finds
out the truth and can Jake? Why is someone trying to kill the both of them? Where does one
start to look for the truth when all you can remember is your name?
I really enjoyed reading Blackout with its tough characters and a woman you'd
definitely want on your side in a dark alley. |
