Deception
by Terri Lynn Wilhelm
Isabel Millington is devastated when she finds out what her uncle has done. Therefore,
after a late night confrontation with him she flees into the night alone and without money.
However, she plans to find someone to help her prove what her uncle has done with her late
father's inheritance and to help her pay for her brother's freedom. Being a woman alone
proves to be a very big ordeal, especially when there is no way to find a decent job.
Fox Tremayne is suspicious of the woman who shows up at his door looking for Mr. Syer,
which just happens to be one of Fox's alias names. When next they meet, Isabel is using
another name. Fox decides on the perfect plan to keep Isabel close until he finds out
if she is working for one of his many enemies, so he decides to hire her as a companion
for his sister. Never realizing that being so close to Isabel every day would be end of
his bachelor ways.
Deception is a magnificently written tale that will certainly be one to go on
the keeper shelf to read over. Once I started this book, I was unable to put it down.
With an outstanding plot and wonderful characters, Deception will keep any reader
entertained from the beginning until the end. This book truly shows why Ms. Wilhelm is
an Award-winning author. |
