Must Love Mistletoe
by Christine Ridgway
Bailey Sullivan is home for Christmas, and hating every moment of it. Not only does she not care for the season, she
detests working in A Perfect Christmas, the family business that’s an ‘institution’ in the town. To add insult to
injury, she discovers that Finn Jacobson, her bad-boy teenage love, is back to living with his grandmother, right
next door to her mother’s house.
Finn wants nothing to do with Bailey - which is fine with her. If only their feelings about each other would
completely die down, then they could get on with their lives. In the meantime, they each have to wrestle with
other personal problems. As a secret service agent, Finn has to get over the injury that cost him his one eye, and
the life of a fellow agent. Bailey has to convince her mother to get on with life, reconcile with her step-father,
and above all, get back to minding the store so that Bailey can get on with her own life.
Ms. Ridgway has written a thoroughly enjoyable Christmas tale, complete with a Bah Humbug! heroine and a
town that loves Christmas as much as Bailey detests it. Must Love Mistletoe is a must read for romance
junkie who wants to put a little spice in the holiday season. |
