On
Blue Falls Pond
by Susan Crandall
Glory is returning to her hometown to care for her ailing grandmother. It's been two years
since the fire that caused the death of her husband and unborn child. Now she must face
everything she left behind. Her memory is hazy from the days before the fire till directly
after. Is this her mind's way of keeping the pain away, or has she forgotten something
more important? Will a return to Dawson and the hollow where Gran lives help her get her
memory back? Seeing Eric, the fireman who saved her the night of the fire, triggers bad
memories. Someone else in town has not forgotten that night, either, and has no intentions
of letting Glory get away with putting that pain in the past.
Gran is caring for Eric's small son who is autistic. Glory has a hard time relating or
even trying to connect to him. Glory will learn to cope and also uncover the truth of the
night of her own tragedy. Will it open new doors and will she find new love? On Blue
Falls Pond is a bittersweet story of love and loss and dealing with life's unfairness
and finding the good it has to offer us. |
