Parallel Heat
2nd in a Trilogy
by Deidre Knight
Marco McKinley, a royal guardian, and Thea Haven, a soldier, have a strong connection. It seems like they already
know each other. How can this be? Have they met in a previous lifetime? Add in some premonition twists, like how
Marco will become an enemy of the people that he is sworn to protect? Also, will Thea be able to adjust after the
one she was promised to marries another?
Parallel Heat is full of passionate sexual situations that do not always seem realistic for the characters.
There is just enough character development to have the reader feel for Thea and her situation and understand what
the rest of the characters are feeling. The setting is loosely based on an alien planet but there isn’t a lot of
description of what these paranormal characters really are supposed to look like. A lot of great explanation is
provided on how the characters interact with human and how some of the characters differ from humans.
Parallel Heat can be good for readers who enjoy losing their minds into a heated paranormal romance novel. |
