Great character and story development make this book one I couldn't put down. Nicki is a strong business minded woman. Mark is a man with a past that includes being framed by his ex-wife and several years of cancer. His baggage leads to trust issues. He needs to get into Nicki's books to start the investigation, and ends up in her bed and her heart. The romance is more lusty than romantic, but the two lead characters open up and it becomes a relationship not just based on sexual attraction but on something more.

The twists and turns in Strip Search make for an intriguing climax. You don't realize who the bad guy is until near the end, you think one thing and it's another. Author Shelley Bradley is a master of tying love and mystery together. I highly recommend this book.
