Swept Away
by Toni Blake
From the moment I read the first page of Swept Away, by Toni Blake, I was hooked, captivated and spell-bound.
The story opens up with Katrina (Kat) Spencer about to graduate from high school, and the only graduation present she
wants is a much older and very handsome Brock Denton. She begins her seduction scene, but Brock has other ideas. Then,
after ten years, the two meet again under strange and dangerous circumstances on an island, and their ride makes for
some fun and passionate adventures.
Ms. Blake details the romance between Kat and Brock so vividly that you can actually envision the two of them in
your world of romance, wanting to know with every page what will be their destiny. Ms. Blake takes you on a rendezvous
of romance so deeply affecting and totally mind-boggling, with some erotic and orgasmic scenes, that she makes you
believe true love does exist between couples. And that it is possible to find your mate and that instant connection,
knowing he/she is the one.
Brock has demons of his own, and this makes for an interesting read. Kat is under obligations to her parents,
especially her father. She’s about to make the biggest mistake of her life because of these obligations with the
wrong man.
Swept Away is the perfect saga for lovers of romance, and it will elevate the faith that romance is alive
and kicking. I don’t usually read these kinds of fables, but I am a changed woman when it comes to Toni Blake. I
am swept away into a land of fantasy and fable to a world where Kat and Brock overcome their demons and obstacles
to find each other. I wept and rooted for the two of them in their pain and sorrow, and triumphed with their joys.
This is a must-read for all romantics and a pager turner until the very end. Ms. Blake gave me a web of romance
with a channel, and she did not dishearten. |
