Train From Marietta
by Dorothy Garlock
Katherine Tyler loves her work as a nurse, and is determined to go to work for her uncle in
California. However, little does she know that kidnappers are stalking her on the train.
After being kidnapped, and taken from the train, Katherine realizes that one of her kidnappers
is none other than Eddie, the man her half sister has been seeing. She cannot believe
that her father's partner is behind the kidnapping, especially when she has always thought
of him as an uncle. Even though Eddie tries to do all that he can do to keep her safe
from the other two kidnappers, Katherine knows it is only a matter of time before one
of them gets past Eddy.
Tate Castle is glad to be home on his ranch with his six-year-old daughter after being
gone for so long. However, when he is approached for a favor: to track down a kidnapped
girl, he realizes that he is actually searching for the same woman that he had met on the
train. He knows he must get to her quickly, as it is understood that one of her kidnappers
is a man famous for rape and murder. Will he save her in time, and make it safely back
to the ranch?
There is so much more this reviewer could tell you about this story, but I believe
I will save the rest for you to read and enjoy. Once you start, I am sure you will be
unable to put this book down as Ms. Garlock has dished out one of the most fascinating
tales of the year. If like me, you love to see the hero trying to do all he can to save
the heroine, then you will love this book as much as I have. This is definitely one book
to go on the keeper shelf to be read over and over again. |
