You Only Love Twice
by Lori Wilde
Marlie Montague's life is just as she wants it. Her comic book heroine Angelina Avenger,
with all of her government conspiracies and crime fighting, is on the top. Little does
Marlie know that due to all her conspiracies in the comic world, she is now under investigation.
When the a UPS guy attempts to kill her, she can't think of anything except to get help
from her new neighbor. After all, when needing protection it seems better to go for the
tall, dark, muscular guy than her older neighbors.
Navy Agent Joel Hunter is not happy with his undercover assignment. Joel doesn't understand
the need to investigate this quiet and mousy woman. The surprise is on him when he meets
Marlie after she breaks into his house. This woman is nothing like the person he has been
watching. One fact is plain, someone definitely wants Marlie dead. It seems the government
is not the only ones keeping an eye on her.
Joel will do all that he can to protect her as they go on the run to find out what is
actually going on. Exactly what Marlie wrote in her comic that has made the government
so nervous is a question the both of them have to find an answer to.
For an intense, fast paced humorous read, You Only Love Twice is a book not
to be missed. With a magnificent plot , that will have you on the edge of your seat as
the hero and heroine try to stay alive, Ms. Wilde has certainly given the readers a story
that will grab their attention from the beginning to the end. |
