Deliver Me

by Farrah Rochon

Dr. Monica Gardner loved her job as an ER doctor for a St. Louis hospital, but her love life -not so good.  She decided to pick up and move to New Orleans, Louisiana, and help out in the Katrina-devastated area, so she got a job at a New Orleans hospital.  Monica was ready and willing to devote her entire life to her job, setting aside a personal life, as her last relationship left a bad taste in her mouth and in her heart.

What Monica was not expecting was to meet Dr. Elijia Holmes, or as he was known in his profession, "Super Doc."  Eli was a very well known and prominent OB-GYN and was loved and hated by all the women he worked with.  Given his reputation as a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy, Monica was warned to stay away.  I guess you never can predict when true love will come along and bite you!

I could go on and on about how this story unfolds, but I will leave that to your reading. I don't want to give away the good parts of this book, and there are many.  I enjoyed this book immensely and so will you.  It's well written and easy reading, making you want to just curl up in the corner of your favorite sofa or comfy chair and read it from beginning to end.  I would put this as one of my favorite reads!
