Dark Curse
The Carpathians (Dark) Series, Book 19

by Christine Feehan

Lara Calladine has experienced a hellish childhood.  Her father was an evil man with a controlling attitude.  She managed to escape and claim her true heritage as a Dragonseeker. She keeps her past well hidden, along with her mysterious powers.  She has turned her energy into becoming the world’s leading expert in ice-cave study.

Lara’s latest project involves searching for a healing microorganism.  She hopes this discovery will also explain the dark nightmares that plague her sleep.  Her search leads her to meet Nicholas De La Cruz, a man like no other.  She can tell by his eyes that he also has his own secrets.

Together, Lara and Nicholas form an unlikely bond as their growing passion begins to emerge each day.  Will they both find what they are seeking? And will it allow them to put their past behind them, and start living for a future together?

With 19 books in one series you have to know that Christine Feehan’s Dark series is a legend in itself.  Looking back, I still can remember the first in the series, and how excited I was to find this fresh, new author when paranormal books were just breaking the ice in the romance gene.  Years later, I’m happy to say that I am still a devoted fan and believe that each book in this series grows it to new heights.  For any paranormal fan who has been living under a rock and never discovered Feehan’s unlimited talent RUN to your nearest bookstore.  Very highly recommended.
