Do You Believe In Magic
Magic series book #2
by Ann Macela
In what is the 2nd of a series following The Oldest Kind Of Magic, Ann Macala winds downward with the story line
of magic practitioners (who aren’t witches), soul mates and intrigue.
This is a sweet story of love and soul mates gone slightly wrong. The plot moves a bit slowly for me compared
to the first book in the series, but it is still a great little read. Ms. Macala is a gifted writer, her plot and
characters are clean and uncluttered. Uber gorgeous computer wizard / magician (and we aren’t talking David
Copperfield here) Clay Morgan is a pretty confident guy who is bound and determined to launch into the Soul Mate
Imperative, seize the woman of his dreams and live happily ever after. What he doesn’t count on is the fact that
Francie (his chosen) has a different idea and wants NOTHING to do with Clay or magic. Can Francie overcome her
fear of relationships? Will Clay have enough patience to wait for the woman of his dreams, let alone convince her
that magic does exist? Tune in and find out if you and Francie can Believe In Magic too. Be sure to check out
the 3rd book in the series, Your Magic or Mine, coming out in October 2008! |
