Adele has good friends to get her through these tough times. It’s too bad these friends are back in her new home in another state while Adele stays in Texas attending to her pregnant sister and babysitting her teenaged niece - both of whom seem to appreciate and resent her presence. She really needs the comfort of her friends when she runs into Zach Zemaitis, a handsome former professional football star who broke her heart in college. Not Another Bad Date contains the humor, passion, and drama that comprise a great contemporary romance. The characters are interesting and likeable, and the sexual tension mounts throughout the early chapters. One unanswered question remains, however, after reading the book: Why is Zach’s wife (while alive and dead) the only one with magical powers?
