One Night in Boston
by Allie Boniface
Maggie Doyle is at her wits' end trying to not lose her home, her job, and her sanity. She has to swallow her pride
and reach out to her estranged stepbrother for assistance. Jack Major is a successful lawyer and has never forgotten
his first true love, Maggie. Jack and Maggie reunite at a charity event. She has a deep secret that she’s been
withholding for several years. Will Jack forgive her?
The characterizations of Maggie and Jack are solid and very easy to enjoy. They are easy to relate to. The
romance between Maggie and Jack is realistic and hopeful to the hopeless romantics out there in the world. It is a
strong romance and not just fluff, as so many romances are in books. As with many romances from the past, there are
secrets and the secret in One Night in Boston is a good one. The setting of Boston makes for clear landmarks
but the story could take place in many different cities.
One Night in Boston is a strong and fast-paced novel. It keeps readers entertained from beginning to end. |
