True Deception

by Patricia Waddell

True Deception, by Patricia Waddell, was a wonderful book. Not my usual type of book to read or review, but I am glad I had the opportunity to sample some of Patricia's work. It was well worth it!

This is the perfect book, as it covered many aspects of human nature.

Aedon Rawn is out for revenge for the death of his wife and 3-year-old daughter, and he will literally travel the universe to accomplish his mission.

Kala Cha'ari is out to save the world. Typical story, untypical mission for a girl who doesn't have much to lose but wants to make life better for the rest of us - speaking metaphorically, of course, as this is a paranormal. futuristic book about the vast universe we hardly know anything about. The Hachyn way of life has been compromised by the oppressive government, and they risk extinction unless Kala is able to overthrow the ruling power - something that she has been working to solve most of her young life. Unfortunately, a turn of events throws her together with a guy who is Korcian.

These two, while on different missions and a much different path in life, show how unique each of us is, and how the power of ambitions and revenge join two very different people together. How and why they remain together is where the fun begins. So join them in this quest to abolish what is wrong with the world today and create a much better place to live and raise a family.

I truly enjoyed this book from start to finish, and I am sure you will as well.
