Dark Hunger
The Demon Born series #2

by Rita Herron

Book two of The Demon Born series is a page turning tale of good and evil. Dark Hunger pits Quinton Valtrez, an operative for Homeland Security and a good demon, against his demonic father to stop a killing spree in Savannah which moves to other cities with haunted origins. It is there he meets reporter Annabelle Armstrong who fast becomes someone important in his heart and life. Before he can explore his newly developed feelings, he must keep Annabelle alive and out of the hands of his father Zion, leader of the demonic underworld.

Annabelle is in Savannah for a story. She wants the straight up on Quinton. Is he truly working for the good guys or is his agenda more devious? When she’s caught in the middle of a horrific and deadly explosion, Annabelle soon finds Quinton is the only one she can count on when she becomes the hunted. Not only is she being stalked, but she is also being used as a go between with the killer calling the shots. Her world gets even spookier when she discovers Quinton is not all mortal, she meets a Voodoo Queen who has been dead for years, and she is kidnapped by the King of the Underworld.

Fast paced and riveting is this paranormal tale of suspense and love between two determined souls trying to right wrongs and save the world.
