Destined For An Early Grave
Night Huntress, Book 4

by Jeaniene Frost

I picked up my first Night Huntress book at a convention. It pulled me into the characters and plot. Now, after having read my second book, book four of this enthralling series, Ms. Frost has me hooked. Cat and Bone are awesome characters and the on-the-edge-of-my-seat content was more than enough to supply my greed for a good paranormal romance.

After Bones narrowly misses death in the last book, he and Cat are ready to explore their blood-bond relationship without any interruptions. Alas, their vacation in Paris erupts into nightmares for Cat, who is slowly but surely being pulled toward Gregor—a vampire who swears she is married to him. Cat is torn between the dreams of love and sexual bliss with this vamp and her love for Bones. Her confusion leads to several moments of insecurity and opens the door to strife and mistrust in the bond she and Bones share.

When Gregor won’t take no for an answer, he unleashes all the evil forces he can rally to hurt the people Cat loves. When she allows him to take her from Bones, she does so with the knowledge she is saving her true lover’s life as well as her vampire and mortal family. When Bones comes for her, she is caught between relief and despair. If she loses him, she no longer has a reason to live. She will fight for her dreams and fight to send Gregor to Hell, even if she follows him to an early grave.
