For any of our readers who read my review of Palmer’s first book in the Feral Warriors series,
Desire Untamed (also reviewed
on Myshelf), you know I raved about the book. Her second, Obsession Untamed, is just as
good as the first. The cast of characters from Lyon’s tale of love return to aid in the romance of
Tighe and Delaney in a fast paced, hot romance, with a not sure of how it will end story of warriors
and their loves.
Tighe, one of the few members of the Feral Warriors left to battle the Draden, a vicious and
deadly swarm who attack the warriors is also a key player in preventing the Daemons from releasing
bad guy Satanan. To allow Satanan free reign on earth would sentence millions of mortals to death.
Tighe takes his job seriously, but with his soul being cloned, he is not just battling the forces of
evil, but must also kill the clone and retrieve his complete soul before time runs out. Amidst this
chaos he realizes his clone is killing mortal women and children. One intended victim, FBI Agent
Delaney Randall, finds a place in his heart—only the beautiful woman believes he is a serial
killer thanks to his look-alike.
Delaney’s visions of murders take their toll on her heart, mind, and job. When a man shows up
claiming to be a good guy, but looks like the killer, and tries to tell her she needs to trust him,
she finds herself doing the opposite—despite the growing physical and emotional attachment
she feels toward the handsome Tighe. His failure to act as a killer confuses Delaney, but that
doesn’t stop her from setting a trap to catch him.
Life becomes deadly when the real killer kidnaps her and the only one she can depend on is the
one man who has every reason on earth to hate her.
