To Romance A Charming Rogue
by Nicole Jordan
Jordan's Regency is fun, poignant, and romantic. I love Damon—he is such a rogue. Elle
is not your regular do as I say heroine, and that makes for a wonderful read. Both the hero
and heroine's repartee and their cat-and-mouse games of kisses and more are well enacted.
Lord Damon Stafford, the Viscount of Wrexham, has been a thorn in Lady Eleanor's side for years.
His courtship and then unfaithfulness put to rest their short engagement. Now she is looking for a
husband, a prince in fact, but the roguishly handsome Damon shows up to ruin her expectations.
Every time she thinks she is making progress with the Prince, her ex-fiancé tells her why she
shouldn't marry the man. When Damon climbs in through her bedroom window and shows her the
delights of the bedroom, she is stunned to find her feelings have not changed—she is still
in love with the rogue who now proposes a marriage of convenience.
After his twin brother's death, Damon vows to never love another again, but soon discovers he
cannot live without Eleanor. An attempt against the Prince pushes both he and the lovely lady into
a situation where marriage is no longer an option but a necessity. Now, Damon must decide to give
his heart completely to Elle or risk losing her, and Eleanor must put aside her distrust and find a
way to help the man of her heart. |
