Seduced
by a Highlander
By Paula Quinn
Isobel
Fergusson's father was murdered by the bloodthirsty MacGregors.
While at Whitehall Palace to attend the Duke of York's coronation,
she meets a handsome stranger. He comes to her rescue numerous times
while trying to seduce her. However, once she finds out that he
is the son of the man that killed her father, she gathers her brothers
and heads for home.
Tristan
MacGregor is known throughout the highlands as a dashing flirtatious
rogue who has dallied with many women. One evening he meets Isobel
in the King's garden and steals a kiss. Unknown to him, she is the
sworn enemy of his clan. Once he realizes who she is, he sets his
course to heal the wounds between the two clans. Tristan goes to
Isobel's home to win her trust. He had no idea what that would entail
until he meets Isobel's brothers. If he lives through them, he may
have a chance.
This
was my fist Paula Quinn book. I was quite impressed with it. She
does a great job of bringing her characters to life and drawing
you into the story. I look forward to reading more of her books.
