Tempted
by Fate
By Kate Perry
Willow
Tarata is the guardian of the wood scroll. With that responsibility
comes great power and great danger. She hunts down those who prey
on the weak. She is looking for, and being hunted by, the man who
killed her mother. Her hunt leads her to San Francisco and into
the hands of one of it's best homicide detectives, Rick Ramirez.
Willow finds herself being Rick's prime suspect for 3 murders.
Rick Ramirez is a cop who
believes in following the rules. As far as he's concerned, there
is only black and white. There are no gray areas. It's by the book,
no matter what. But once he meets Willow, he starts to see those
gray areas. Thanks to his grandmother, he's seeing more than that.
Question is, will he believe it?
For Willow and Rick to
survive they must learn to trust each other and rely on each other.
With the help of Rick's grandmother they learn to be more accepting
of each other. Their passion and desire for each other is off the
charts, but will the love be strong enough to get them through the
gray areas?
This
is the third installment of the Guardians of Destiny Series.
If you haven't read the first two, that's OK. This one stands on
it's own very well. I know I'm looking forward to reading the first
two soon.
