Ms. Hill doesn’t have to prove a thing when it comes to her books. She is awesome in the
genres she writes, and Viking in Love is no exception. Readers are allowed a glimpse
into not just one heroine’s life but, in my opinion, her sisters’ heroic lives also. The hero,
Caedmon, is endearing as he scrambles to fight the emotions Breanne brings out in him. A
top-notch romance all the way to the last page.
Breanne is a Viking princess and pretty much used to doing what she wants. She does not
tolerate brutality, and when one of her sisters is abused by her husband, she and the other
four decide to do something about it. Now, all five women must get away before questions are
asked and a possible accusation is tossed their way. When they stop at Larkspur to await help
to return home to their father, Breanne butts heads with the handsome but oh-so-bossy Caedmon.
Something about him opens a floodgate inside her. The physical attraction is hot enough to start
a fire, but she wants more from the man.
Caedmon is back from serving his king and wants only to get his land and house in order before
he is called back into duty. The morning after his arrival, Caedmon is overrun with five Viking
princesses who proceed to take over his home and life. One in particular, the beautiful and
talented Breanne, forces him to feel full-blown lust every time he is near her. Something he
could live with, but then she begins to wiggle her way inside his heart.
When he decides to do something about it, he finds he must overcome not only Breanne’s refusal
to marry him, but also the men who are searching for answers to her brother-in-law’s disappearance.
