“The Inferno Club: In public, this scandalous society of London
aristocrats is notorious for pursuing all manner of debauchery.
But in private, they are warriors who would do anything to protect
king and country…”
Mara Bryce had her heart set on marrying the Earl of Falconridge,
escaping her family, and living the happily ever after. However,
the night she was sure he was going to ask her, the Earl told her
he had to leave and asked her to wait for him. He broke her heart.
Years later as Lady Pierson, Mara was now a widow. Happy with her
single life, Mara had no intention of letting a man control her
again. And then she sees Jordan, the Earl of Falconridge. Jordan
is determined to change her mind. As he tries to weave his way into
her heart, Jordan is also on assignment. He can’t tell her
what he does and tries to protect her. Things get complicated when
he is ordered to use her to get into the private circle of the reagent.
Now he must find a way to keep her safe and still find out who the
trader is.
Foley has done a wonderful job of blending intrigue, action, and
a wonderful romance. Although this is the third in the series, it
is a great standalone book. I am quite sure that once you read it
you will be going after the others as fast as I am. I can’t
wait to read the rest of the Inferno Club series. I hope you enjoy
it as much as I did.
