Well, shucks, if you're a Texan, of course, it's a must read. If you're not, you'll find it fun and fabulous. It's a delightful light novel full of true Texas romance that will knock your boots off. Nikki is a delicious suspect in her boyfriend's murder, and Dallas O'Connor, the lead detective's brother, is out to prove her innocent.

This is a fast paced, quick dialogue, up half the night read. Grab a cup of coffee and dig in. I liked it for its wit and lively pace. You will too. A great holiday gift book for any Texas girl.

And, TxDOT, the Department of Transportation, is suing the author for using the state's own slogan. We will see how that turns out. The Texas Department of Transportation takes its slogans seriously. TxDOT has filed a lawsuit against the book publisher, Hachette Group, Barnes & Noble, and author Christie Craig over her book. According to the lawsuit, the book's graphic sexual content does irreparable harm to TxDOT's image. "Don't Mess With Texas" is the agency's official slogan. TxDOT wants the book pulled from store shelves and destroyed, and asked that any new copies be re-titled. Better grab one now.
