Previous
release in the Slow Burn series was Keep Me Safe.
Safe at Last is expected to be released in March 2015.
Gavin Rochester and his wife Ginger were unable to have a
child, until Gavin opened the front door and found a baby
on the ground before him. A note from the baby's mother asked
Gavin and his wife to love and protect the baby girl, and
to raise her as their own. Gavin and Ginger go to Europe and
return with Ariel and a birth certificate listing them as
her parents. Soon they discover that the baby has an uncanny
ability to move objects at will. Over the years, to protect
her, they teach Ari to hide her telekinesis.
Twenty-two years later, three men attack Ari and her talents
roar to life. Though she meant only to save herself, nearby
surveillance cameras provide proof of her telekinetic powers.
Then her parents are kidnapped, hoping to save them, she retrieves
the contents of her father's safe deposit box.
Beau, Caleb and Zack Devereaux, along with several reliable
professionals, run a security agency. When Beau sees the panic
in Ari's features and learns of her abilities, he understands,
for his youngest sister and brother's wife have psychic abilities.
Even though Ari's father told her to seek out Caleb or Beau
in any emergency, she begins to believe they can't help her.
Beau is determined, however, to keep her safe. He soon realizes
that being in close physical contact with Ari is far more
dangerous than he could ever imagine.
In His Keeping is a sexy, fast paced book that's hot,
hot, hot! The fast moving suspense kept me on the edge of
my seat, frantically turning pages, while the sexy scenes
between Ari and Beau had me excited in an entirely different
way. I thoroughly enjoyed the paranormal elements and hope
this outstanding series will have more than three releases.
