Rothermere, Duke of Sedgemoor, can hardly believe that Penelope
turned down his proposal. But if she wants to run off to the
continent and set the rumor mills to turning, he can't stop
her. But then her brother's dying request sends him after
her to bring her home. He thought he had finally gotten over
her.
Penelope
Thorne, obviously not in her right mind, said no to marrying
the Duke of Sedgemoor. She has known him since they were children
- she also knows that she would bring nothing but scandal
to him name.
The only
way to get home to London with their reputations in one piece
is to pretend they are married throughout their journey. That
means kissing like they mean it and sharing a bed until it
becomes hard to tell where the game ends and the true passion
begins.
Anna
Campbell makes this Regency period third book in the Sons
of Sin series jump up and grab you. The wit and romance sizzle
with the tension between Penelope and Cam. If you like a good
sense of humor mixed in with some hot romance, you love this
book. Steve West does a great job of reading and putting in
all the right feelings as he reads.
