All the Windwracked Stars, by Elizabeth Bear, is a well written, highly detailed book, that keeps you focused
on the tale the author spins. With science fiction, you sometimes have to be in the right frame of mind to take in
all of the facts thrown your way, and this is that sort of book.
Civilization as we know it is not civilization at all, as interpreted in this book. Life is not as simple as
we all hope, nor can we move from day to day thinking that it is. This book will show you just what lies beneath
the surface of our life and prove that maybe there is something else out there!
As with some of the other books I have read and written a review about, this type of book is not one that I
would normally pick up and read. I am not a science fiction buff, nor do I understand some of the terminology
used, but this book I got.
Muire is the last of the Valkyrie, and she walks among the mortals of the Valdyrgard in the hopes of changing
the dreadful world that the warriors have created with their treachery. She is here to avenge the bold warriors
slain and to fight for their cause. She spends most of her time in the alleyways of the under city believing that
she alone is the only one of her kind left, until she sees a trace of another Child of the Light!
Follow along with the journey of Muire and live the life that she is put here to protect, and enjoy!
