When he is targeted by an immortal who wants to use him to get to Utah's friend and boss, Lia—a sexier than heck mortal—saves his butt. A bit miffed, Utah realizes the woman with her quick mouth and biting sarcasm is getting on his nerves as well as under his beastie hide.

Lia, although human, must soon decide to embrace her mother's heritage of vampirism. In the meantime she is on the fast-track trying to guard a sensual, sinful raptor who’s intent on putting himself out there for any and all immortal prey to kick his butt. She soon realizes she wants no one touching his rear-end but her. However, when she’s changed into a fang-toting creature she must keep Utah’s fangs between them or else she will rip his throat out.

Fighting bad vamps and a couple of immortals intent on destroying the human race, (with the help of Utah's brother, as well as a dark faery fae) both Lia and Utah realize that love can turn even the most savage beast into a kitten when it comes to matters of the heart.

Nina Bangs rocks with this super fantastic paranormal offering. I loved her characters, and although I have not read her other books in this series, this book was easy to follow. The sex is hot, the characters on the edge of unique, and the romance will knock your fangs out.
