When a researcher discovers a way to peer into another dimension and see another Eureka, the experiment goes a bit beyond what anyone expected. Suddenly Eureka is getting visitors from the other dimension. Naturally, this signals the possible end of everything and it's up to Sheriff Carter, Deputy Lupo and Fargo to save the world -- again. This television tie-in novel does a great job of portraying the characters exactly as you'd expect to see them. And poor Sheriff Carter suffers through all manner of painful mishaps, just as he always does -- though electrocuting the poor man five times seems above and beyond the call of duty!

In the flow of the actual television show, this tie-in is about one season behind what we see on television since Jo is still deputy. If you're a big fan of the show, this book is a great way to visit with the characters you love as you wait for the new season. If you've never seen Eureka on television, this is still bright, silly science fiction -- perfect for curling up for a couple hours of pure escapism.
