Those undead, they just never die out. This is a newly resurrected
story about another group of the undead, Germans at war in 1917.
It starts out like any war saga. The first chapter peaks your interest
in the wage of war described by Captain Michael Burke as he talks
about the Germans, the battlefield and waiting in the trenches.
Then, at once the "Shamblers" begin their rampage and
as they approach the trenches where the defense is waiting, you
are quickly transported into the unreal fighting of the undead.
You have now entered another dimension of war. You quickly discover
this isn't going to be just another war story.
Pilot fighter Major Freeman gets taken captive and Burke is brave
and foolish enough to engage his troops to capture him from the
dangerous zombie forces headed by the infamous Manfred con Richtofen.
The problem as you have guessed is that they don't die. And, the
Germans have invented a new gas that resurrects the bodies into
a fresh troop source.
For those avid followers of all kinds of undead books and movies,
you will like this one too. It's curiously believable, and intriguing.
So, rest assured this too will have a sequel, as there always is
to the undead books. It seems there is always a new plot to be discovered.
