Time Travelers will really like this book of future (2133) meets
past, as Upnick’s scientists travel back to 1938 in pursuit
of changing the history of Hitler’s rise to power. Right on
their tails are future SS agents. And then enter aliens with their
own designs on the planet.
Everyone becomes ensnarled
in this espionage-meets-alien terror. The book is lightweight, good
sized print and easy to read along as the pace speeds up and the
intensity grows.
I am not a
sci-fi fan, but I enjoyed the storyline, and the dialogue was unique
and sometimes humorous. Might be because Upnick used to be a writer
for Rodney Dangerfield? For anyone just breaking into science fiction,
I would recommend Upnick’s trilogy, Time Will Tell, Future
Tense, and 2052 as primers.
