In this fifth book of the series, visualizer Willow Tate has a very real-world problem. She has a scary fan turned stalker who doesn't mind killing things to scare her. Unfortunately, the stalker has to take a backseat to Willow's other problems: her father wants her to do him a favor -- a big one! The townspeople of Paumanok Harbor want her to find a way to bring back their rapidly shrinking beaches. And her handsome Vet friend just wants her. As always, Willow juggles all these demands by annoying everyone and rushing headlong to the very brink of disaster. For readers of the series, Willow is treading fairly familiar ground but she does it with humor and charming fallibility as always. The unique characters of Paumanok Harbor are quirky fun, and the novel proves that villains don't have to be big to be disastrous. All in all, a fun, light read, perfect for warming up your cool winter reading.
