Celtic Joy
A Celebration of Christmas

by Noirin Ni Riain with Eoin and Micheal O'Suilleabhain

      Heaven presents itself in all things good . . .

Christmas is a season in which families are brought together.  It is a time when joyous music fills homes throughout the world.  This season, why not consider adding something different to your holiday festivities?  There is no better selection than Noirin Ni Riain’s Celtic Joy: A Celebration of Christmas.

I have always felt that listening to the voice of Noirin Ni Riain is like experiencing a calling from the Heavens.  Her angelic voice has surely been sent down from far above.  In this special musical collection she is joined by her sons Eoin & Micheal O'Suilleabhain.  Both are talented artists who enhance their mother’s poetic voice.  When the trio sings together, they call themselves A.M.E.N, which stands for the following:

A =  Almighty, Audience, Absolute, Anyone (who has an ear to hear) M = Michael (youngest son)
E = Eoin (eldest son)
N = Noirin (mother)

Each one of these seventeen tracks will provide the listener with a memorable experience that will make anyone’s Christmas magical.  All the tracks are recorded in the monastic Chapel of Glencairn Abbey in County Waterford, Ireland.  Amazingly, this audio was never edited so what you hear is all because of the artists' true talent.  The only instrument that is used in the entire audio is a lone organ.

Anyone seeking something to put them in the holiday mood should definitely check out Celtic Joy: A Celebration of Christmas.  After I finished listening to this audio, I quickly begin to tally up the days until Christmas day.  Very highly recommended.
