Yoga Wave

by Shiva Rea

Yoga speaks its own language. For over five thousand years it has been practiced by those who seek a deeper inner understanding to discover oneness. Yoga has been defined as "technologies or disciplines of asceticism and meditation which are thought to lead to spiritual experiences and a profound understanding or insight into the nature of existence."

Shiva Rea is a respected name in the yoga culture. She has dedicated her life to ensuring that she learns all the age-old techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation. With her in-depth knowledge, she allows anyone to achieve a successful home yoga routine thorough her audio, Yoga Wave.

In Yoga Wave, Shiva introduces an approach she likes to call "wave sequencing," which is a form of fluid yoga. This type of yoga is best described as creating a free flowing wave as your body glides effortlessly through each pose.

I would encourage anyone who tries Yoga Wave to take the time to read the 33-page study guide first. This will enable you to gain a better mental picture of what is to come once the audio starts. Once you become familiar with each move, you can then start the audio for the routine in Shiva’s own soothing voice.

Yoga Wave is a must have for any home yoga library. This audio is one you are able to fit into your busy daily lifestyle. I was very impressed at how I was able to complete one of Rea’s routines in as little as ten minutes. For over two years I have been active in yoga and have enjoyed everything Shiva Rea has published. The greatest day in my yoga life will be when I am able to attend one of her live yoga presentations. It will be then that I can personally thank her for all the wonderful offerings she has bestowed to my life. Very highly recommended.
